Crystals can be simple anchors for attention during meditation and daily practice. Each stone here is chosen by Arvin and worked with in his own practice.
Moldavite
The most powerful stone of transformation
Forest-green glass that fell from the sky. About 15 million years ago, a meteorite struck what is now the Ries crater in southern Germany. The heat flung molten rock high into the air, where it cooled into glass and rained down across Bohemia. That is why genuine moldavite is found almost only in the Czech Republic, and why its wrinkled, sculpted surface looks like nothing else on Earth.
People have treasured it for a very long time: Stone Age people in Central Europe carried and worked moldavite, and pieces have been found at sites like Willendorf in Austria.

How it is worked with
In crystal traditions, moldavite is called the stone of transformation, and it is known as the most intense of them. These are the experiences practitioners describe, and that Arvin works with:
Change, fast
Said to speed up change: old patterns, habits and situations that no longer fit tend to come up so they can be released. Many people describe more synchronicities after they start working with it.
Opening the heart
Associated with the heart chakra. It is often used to soften old emotional walls and to reconnect with what you truly want.
Warmth in the hands
Some people feel warmth, tingling or a rush of heat through the chest or face when they first hold it. Others feel nothing at all, and both are normal.
Higher awareness
Linked with the third eye and crown, and used to deepen meditation, intuition and dreamwork. Because of its sky-born origin, it is often called a "star stone".
Go slowly: because moldavite is so intense, start with a few minutes at a time. Hold it during meditation over your heart, then put it away. If you feel restless, light-headed or overwhelmed, take a break and ground yourself with a calming stone, a walk or water. Many people pair it with a gentler stone, like Libyan Desert Glass, below.
A lot of "moldavite" sold online is simply green glass. Ask Arvin about where any piece comes from before you buy.
Libyan Desert Glass
A milder stone of transformation
Pale, honey-gold glass born from fire in the sky. About 29 million years ago, an impact or airburst over the Sahara melted the desert sand into one of the purest natural glasses on Earth. It is found only in the Great Sand Sea, near the border of Egypt and Libya.
The ancient Egyptians prized it too: the scarab at the centre of a pectoral from Tutankhamun's tomb is carved from Libyan Desert Glass.

How it is worked with
In crystal traditions, Libyan Desert Glass is known as a solar stone, and some call it "the silent warrior". These are the qualities practitioners describe and that Arvin works with in meditation:
Will & personal power
Associated with the solar plexus, the seat of will. Often used to support confidence, decisiveness and the courage to act.
Change, gently
Like moldavite above, it is a stone born of impact and linked with transformation. Many describe it as steadier and gentler: change that feels grounded rather than overwhelming.
Intention & manifestation
Used to clarify intentions and focus creative energy, in keeping with its bright, sun-like colour.
Steady energetic boundaries
Valued as a protective stone that helps you hold your own centre in heavy or draining environments.
A simple practice: sit quietly with the stone resting just above your navel. Breathe slowly into that area for a few minutes, and let one clear intention form. Afterwards, keep the stone somewhere you will see it as a reminder.
